The role coordinates and dispatches non-ferrous truck shipments, negotiates freight rates with carriers, and ensures on-time pick-up and delivery between facilities and broker accounts, while maintaining carrier relationships and freight data.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in the traffic/transportation industry.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and/or dispatch non-ferrous truck shipments.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize costs.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and delivery between facilities and broker accounts.
• Maintain freight rate database and process invoices.
