Qualifications

• College degree in transportation or equivalent and at least 2 years related experience.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Proven ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dry cargo freight order entry, route load configurations, and scheduling to meet delivery expectations while minimizing cost.
• Handle all LTL functions including order entry, dispatch, brokerage, freight bill audit/payment, and rate negotiations.
• Manage carrier relationships and tender loads based on time, cost, and service levels.
• Monitor carrier progress and track deliveries, communicating with customers and distribution centers.
• Audit carrier bills against distance and rate tables; monitor demurrage and ensure proper invoicing.
• Support sales by collaborating with product managers, Fleet Operations Managers, and Marketing.
• Follow policies including safety, compliance, and background checks; participate in required trainings.
