Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent background in business, finance, transportation, or logistics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with Access and AS/400 preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical analysis and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to Senior Pricing Analysts by identifying historical and hypothetical company trends.
• Use the Estes costing model and internal pricing reports to inform pricing decisions.
• Assure current pricing is keyed correctly and consistent with policy.
• Complete rate comparison projects and customer rate conversions as requested.
• Gather customer information from the field for accurate costing of freight.
• Compile costing analyses for Senior Pricing Analysts and learn Estes Pricing philosophy.
• Train under mentorship of Senior Pricing Analysts and Yield Management.
• Handle miscellaneous analytical projects and duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance is required.
