Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets is seeking a customer-oriented team member to support front-end operations and assist guests. The role emphasizes friendly service, efficient bagging, and maintaining orderly store conditions in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read and interpret safety guidelines, and follow company policies. Experience is not required, and training will be provided.

• Strong communication skills including writing, speaking, listening and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Bag guests' purchases promptly and efficiently within proper guidelines; carry purchases to customers' cars safely and politely.
• Fill all bag slots and supply necessary for front-end operations.
• Assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Assist with general housekeeping and sweep sheet duties as assigned.
• Keep the parking lot clear of carts and return them to proper store locations, follow safety policies; wipe down kids' carts.
