Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and repair procedures.
• Willingness to work in varying outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain freight cars in accordance with FRA and AAR standards.
• Operate welding and cutting equipment (SMAW and FCAW).
• Move and operate heavy equipment and containers and may require a CDL.
• Enter repair records and car information into computer systems.
