We are looking for ahigh-performing Freight Brokerwithproven experienceinperishables and refrigerated freight. This is aremote position, but candidatesmust be located near Madison, WI(Reasonable Driving Distance) for occasional in-person collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full freight brokerage process: prospecting, booking, tracking, and delivery.
• Handle temperature-sensitive loads with precision and urgency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics solutions.

Qualifications:

3 to 5+ yearsof hands-on experience in freight brokerage, specifically inrefrigerated/perishable freight.

• Demonstrated success in cradle-to-grave operations (including operational or carrierproblem resolution).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with TMS platforms and standard load boards.
• Must bebased near Madison, WI (Realistic Driving Distance).
