Job summary

Shamrock Trading Corporation in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Freight Auditor to work with customers, carriers and brokers to answer questions, resolve issues and ensure accurate freight invoicing.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and using multiple software platforms to audit invoices, process billing and drive efficiencies across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of learning operations across the Shamrock family of brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 2+ years of administration or billing experience).
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Audit freight invoices and perform payments for freight brokerage accounts.
• Use multiple software platforms to audit processes and provide client solutions.
• Utilize company software and technology to improve internal efficiencies.
• Coordinate with carriers to obtain necessary paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Field inbound inquiries and provide status updates.
• Learn company operations across brands and departments.

About the Role

Ryan Transportation and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a Freight Auditor. This position is responsible for working directly with customers, carriers and brokers to answer questions, address issues and solve problems. The Freight Auditor will focus on using company resourcesto audit freight invoices,execute billing and drive internal efficiencies. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, critically minded, and thrive in a team environment.
