Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a warehouse/production associate for 1st shift in Newbern, TN. Hours are 3:00 am until finished, with possible Saturdays. The role pays $23.25 per hour.

Responsibilities include weighing and ticketing racks of logs, placing items in freezer locations, weighing combos, and maintaining cold storage conditions. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift (and pass the forklift test to become certified), and work in temperatures at or below 35 degrees

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of continuous employments in the last 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and ticket all racks of logs.
• Place and identify processed meats in freezer locations.
• Weigh and ticket combos and carries to warehouse.
• Clean freezer walls and floor.
• Rotate racks to maintain proper log temperatures.
• Take inventory of rack weights and act on material accordingly.
• Uphold SQF 2000 standards.
• Recognize products not meeting standards.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Operate forklift and obtain certification.
