Job summary

Ramar Foods is seeking a Freezer Warehouse Associate to support cold storage operations. You will safely handle frozen products, manage inventory, and fulfill orders in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Candidates should have forklift/pallet jack experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be comfortable working in 0°F to -30°F conditions. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or distribution environment preferred.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience required (training and certification to be provided)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work in cold temperatures typically ranging from 0°F to -30°F
• Understanding of OSHA safety guidelines and best practices in a warehouse and cold storage setting
• Strong focus on accuracy in product handling, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to being on time and meeting deadlines
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Product Handling & Storage: Safely and efficiently store frozen goods in designated cold storage areas, ensuring proper organization and rotation of stock to prevent spoilage
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and update records to ensure accurate data on all frozen products
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and meeting required shipping deadlines
• Cold Storage Equipment Operation: Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse machinery to move frozen products in and out of the cold storage areas
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, safe handling of hazardous materials, and OSHA regulations
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Temperature Control: Ensure that temperature-sensitive products are stored and handled in compliance with temperature control standards
• Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain inventory logs, shipping and receiving documentation, as required by company procedures
• Other duties as assigned

The Freezer Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations within a cold storage environment. This includes safely handling frozen products, maintaining accurate inventory records, fulfilling orders, and ensuring that all activities comply with safety and temperature control protocols. The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. This position requires the ability to work in cold temperatures, operate warehouse equipment, and contribute to the smooth, efficient functioning of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
