Dessert Holdings Inc. is seeking a Freezer Operator for the 2nd shift in Aurora, CO. You will manage WIP from production, ensure proper storage and tracking, and perform daily cycle counts in a fast-paced freezer environment.

Ideal candidates will read/write English or Spanish, stand for long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow strict safety and quality procedures to protect product integrity.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and seek assistance if needed.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting with strict safety rules.
• Experience in freezer environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Count WIP product from production to the WIP freezer.
• Ensure product is covered, properly stored, and tracked by qty/location.
• Conduct daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Stage WIP product for operations and track inbound/outbound quantities.
• Maintain quality control to prevent damaged product entering the freezer.
• Operate SOPs and safely use pallet jacks.
• Complete shift logs for WIP freezer inventory.

What You’ll Do Everyday

• Properly count work in process product from production place into WIP Freezer
• Ensure Product is covered and properly put away and tracked qty and location
• Conduct cycle counts daily for correct inventory
• Stages WIP product for operations
• Tracks the qty and product in and out of the WIP Freezer
• Responsible for quality control; no damage product allowed into freezer and must be properly stored
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Safely utilize pallet jacks
• Completes shift logs of product in and out of WIP freezer
• Cleans and maintains work area clean at all times
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use
• Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s)

What We’re Looking For

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Must be able to work in Freezer environment
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
• Must be able to work in Freezer environments
• Able to stand for at least ten hours per day and may have various repetitive motion duties
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend. Employee must lift up to 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded
• Must be able to keep eyes focused on a conveyor belt for a maximum five hours at one time
• Must be able to work in a food allergens environment
