Dessert Holdings is seeking a Freezer Operator for the 2nd shift at our Aurora, CO facility. You will manage WIP freezer processes, track inventory, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, proper storage, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while following SOPs and SQF/HACCP/GMP practices. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours, including overtime.

Formación

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Count work in process from production to WIP Freezer daily.
• Ensure product is covered, tracked, and located properly.
• Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Stage WIP for operations and track inbound/outbound quantities.
• Operate SOPs and safely use pallet jacks.
• Complete shift logs and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow SQF, HACCP, GMP guidelines to ensure product safety.

What You’ll Do Everyday

• Properly count work in process product from production place into WIP Freezer
• Ensure Product is covered and properly put away and tracked qty and location
• Conduct cycle counts daily for correct inventory
• Stages WIP product for operations
• Tracks the qty and product in and out of the WIP Freezer
• Responsible for quality control; no damage product allowed into freezer and must be properly stored
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Safely utilize pallet jacks
• Completes shift logs of product in and out of WIP freezer
• Cleans and maintains work area clean at all times
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use
• Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s)

What We’re Looking For

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Must be able to work in Freezer environment
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
• Must be able to work in Freezer environments
• Able to stand for at least ten hours per day and may have various repetitive motion duties
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend. Employee must lift up to 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded
• Must be able to keep eyes focused on a conveyor belt for a maximum five hours at one time
• Must be able to work in a food allergens environment
