Position overview

The freezer, cooler and deli stocker helps maintain safe, clean, and well-stocked freezers, coolers, and deli displays. You will support operations and sanitary conditions to keep products ready for members. When working in the deli department, you will be on the front lines of customer service, helping create a positive shopping experience.

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for members
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

What you'll do

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following company standards; and reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; completing required audits and documentation; and securing fragile/high-shrink merchandise
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member and identifying needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and promoting Company products and services
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler areas by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking; cleaning freezer/cooler/deli areas; monitoring equipment operation; and reporting issues to Management

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may be paid as premiums in certain circumstances.
