Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Overview

The Freezer, Cooler, and Deli Stocker role supports operations and sanitary conditions of freezers and coolers, ensuring products are ready for members. In the deli department, you’ll be on the front-lines of customer service, helping customers find products and making the shopping experience a positive one.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps; forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling policies, equipment operation and sanitation, cold chain procedures, cleaning, and reporting issues to Management.
• Supports a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

What you’ll do

• Ensure high-quality products are available and accessible for members.
• Keep shelves clean, monitor temperatures and expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality items.
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
