Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Summary: Join our freezer, cooler, and deli team and keep shelves stocked while playing a pivotal role in operations and sanitary conditions. In the deli department, you’ll front–line customer service, turning a good shopping experience into a great one. Be part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less.

• Ensuring high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members
• Keeping shelves clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food products
• Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area

What you'll do:

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting and hazardous material disposal procedures; report unsafe situations to management
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area; handle claims and returns; zone the area; receive and stock merchandise; set up, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; price merchandise; complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products and services
• Follow company policies for the freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operate, repair, and sanitize equipment; follow cold chain procedures when stocking; clean the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitor fans, drains, and doors; report issues to management

Compensation:

• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location
• Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older; acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if you receive the position.
