Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a punctual, detail-oriented ski and snowboard coach to mentor athletes in freestyle and cross racing programs. The role focuses on guest service, coaching and program coordination on the mountain.

Requirements include USSA or PSIA participation for 2+ years, enthusiasm for outdoor sports, a positive mentoring attitude, strong verbal communication, and prior coaching or racing experience preferred.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Do you like the thrill of being on the mountain? Do you have a passion for coaching and mentoring athletes? We want to see YOU on the mountain! We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and excited for the opportunity to create guests for life. This position is responsible for coaching the athletes in our freestyle and cross racing programs. Both ski and snowboard coach positions are available in these programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• USSA or PSIA participation of at least 2 years.
• Extraordinary ability to provide outstanding guest service.
• An enthusiasm for outdoor sports and recreation.
• A positive attitude with the ability to mentor others.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with both colleagues and guests.
• Previous coaching or racing experience preferred.
