Job summary

Alpine Productions is seeking a freelance/part-time video editor in Alpine, Utah. You will edit diverse projects, primarily in DaVinci Resolve, turning raw footage into polished videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and music choices.

You’ll handle color, audio, graphics, captions, and final finishing, while organizing assets and meeting deadlines. Flexible project-based schedule; some remote work is possible if you have a capable editing setup and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Edit projects primarily in DaVinci Resolve to turn raw footage into polished videos.
• Create strong edits through storytelling, pacing, music, and shot selection.
• Handle basic color, audio, graphics, captions, and final finishing.
• Organize footage and project files; perform revisions as requested.
• Learn and experiment with AI filmmaking tools as part of the workflow.
• Assist with filming, lighting, or audio as a bonus.
