About The Job

As a Thai Subtitler, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering Thai subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos. You will handle all steps of the subtitling process and ensure prompt delivery of subtitles to your Language Coordinator. This role reports to a native Thai-speaking Language Coordinator, who ensures content is accurately adapted for our Thai-speaking audience. Collaboration with your coordinator and Thai studio partners is essential. Additional tasks include translating video titles and descriptions and understanding our dubbing process for standardized localized deliverables.

What you'll do

1. Create Thai subtitles ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules.
2. Implement feedback from the Language Coordinator.
3. Meet deadlines and respond to QC feedback within 24 hours.
4. Assist in creating localized metadata where needed.
5. Maintain clear communication with your team and partners.
6. Familiarize yourself with the Beast brand, key themes, and related brands.

What we're looking for

1. Native Thai speaker
2. C1+ level English proficiency
3. 1-3 years experience in subtitling, translation, or related localization tasks
4. Passion for Thai language and culture, with strong knowledge of slang and cultural references
5. Organized, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
6. Excellent communication skills

8. Empathetic and proactive team player

A+ Candidate

1. Proficient with OOONA tools (Create Pro, Translate Pro)
2. Knowledge of YouTube and digital media trends in Thailand
3. Over 3 years experience in localization processes
4. Connections with studios and voice talent in Thailand

Location

Remote, preferably in a Thai-speaking region.
