Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with interpreters starting at $25 per hour depending on language, availability, and demand.

As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule and accept appointments based on your availability, providing language access across medical, legal, or educational settings. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic understanding.
• Interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Professional, punctual, and adaptable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.
