Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to operate as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. As an interpreter, you make a positive contribution to society by supporting language access and you act as your own boss, setting your availability and accepting appointments based on your schedule.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic understanding.
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Professional, punctual, adaptable in the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate basic communication tools.
• Flexibility to work in different settings and environments.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or interpreting-related certification.
