Freelance Software Tester (Functional Testing, United States)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

We are currently looking for freelance software testers based in Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; and Utah (entire state) to join us in testing a sporting app that allows you to watch live events on various devices.

Our goal is to ensure that our client’s app functions properly on both mobile devices and smart TVs.

To participate, you will need to create an account on our platform. This account allows us to assign testing tasks, track defects, and access testing materials.

Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Location: Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Utah (entire state)
• Availability: We have both AdHoc and regular testing tasks. For regular tasks, availability is required from 7p ET to 12a ET every two weeks. Testing schedules will be communicated in advance.
• Language: English (intermediate or higher)
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus but not mandatory.

What does testing involve?

• Type of testing: Functional
• Work type: Short-term, freelance
• Workload: For regular tasks, 1-2 hours per device, e.g., testing on iOS mobile and Fire TV every two weeks. AdHoc requests may also last 1-2 hours.
• Pay rate: $18 USD/hour
• Payments are made weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
