Now Hiring: Contract Social Media Assistant (Video-Focused)

We are looking for a creative and detail-orientedSocial Media Assistantto join us on a contract basis. If you know how to tell stories through short-form video and create content that grabs attention, this is for you.

No experience required but will ask to see 2 examples of content to assess.

This could also simultaneously serve as an internship if needed.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and optimize10-12 short-form videos per weekforInstagram and TikTok
• Take pre-recorded video clips and turn them into engaging, polished content
• Add captions, trending sounds, jump cuts, and visual hooks
• Format videos for platform-specific best practices (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
• Deliver edited videos on a consistent weekly schedule

Note: All content ideas, scripts, and raw footage will be provided—you just need to bring it to life in the edit.

What I’m Looking For:

• Strong skills in Reels/TikTok video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools)
• Sharp eye for attention-grabbing, on-trend content
• Understanding of personal branding and audience engagement
• Reliable, with fast turnaround times and consistent weekly delivery
• Experience with financial content or working with thought leaders is a plus

Details:

• Remote contract position
• Week-by-week basis, with the potential for ongoing work
• Estimated 5-10 hours per week to start
• We run an agency of 50+ who we would refer after a few weeks of good work
• Pay based on experience and turnaround speed, likely will be based over content made
