Job summary

GSW in Morrisville, NC seeks an entry-level Editorial QA assistant to support Brand Editors on print and digital projects in the pharmaceutical advertising space. You will review layouts, verify files against approved materials, and ensure accuracy across copy, images and references.

Ideal candidates have a proofreading/editing background, a Bachelor's degree, and familiarity with Word, Acrobat, PowerPoint and CMS environments. Some after-hours flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with editing tools (Word track changes, PDF markup).
• Strong grammar, spelling, punctuation and style knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed side-by-side comparisons for print and digital materials to ensure accuracy.
• Confirm production files, proofs, and staging sites match approved layouts.
• Apply attention to copy, layout, images, references and functionality.
• Work within CMS environments and basic web QA concepts.
• Utilize Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat and markup tools.
• Follow regulated workflows and maintain content integrity.
• Document discrepancies clearly and communicate them efficiently.
• Adapt to new tools/platforms as needed.
