Job summary

AKQA, part of WPP, is seeking a Freelance Print Production Designer to support active client work across print and large-format deliverables. You will ensure files are flawless, on-brand, and built to spec, with expertise in billboard/transit formats and color management.

This role is remote in the United States with 20 hours per week and runs 10/19 - 11/6. Strong production craft, proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

Extensive out-of-home production experience required.
Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong collaboration and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage print-ready files across a range of formats, including large-format and out-of-home applications.
Produce accurate, production-ready mechanicals across multiple deliverable types.
Demonstrate fluency in out-of-home production requirements, including billboards and transit.
Coordinate with print vendors and production partners to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain organized file systems and documentation for teammates and partners.
Support design teams through the production lifecycle from setup to final delivery.
Collaborate with designers, art directors, and account managers in a fast-paced environment.
