Qualifications

• National certification at NAD level 4 or higher and relevant interpreter ethics knowledge.
• HIPAA Training for Business Associates certificate is preferred.
• Experience in medical settings and on-site interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective on-site interpreting services for Deaf/HOH patients and healthcare staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and preparedness for shifts.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and scheduling systems.
• Adhere to interpreter ethical standards and laws applicable to medical interpreting.
• Support LEP clients with culturally competent communication.
