Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS certification with hands-on clinical experience.
• Ability to work under Newark, DE deadlines and pressure.
• Experience in freelance clinical roles.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and strong organizational skills.
• Blood draw and IV insertion experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach patients through Pediatric Care and IV Insertion regimens until the routine becomes their own.
• Round on Newark, DE long-stay patients, watching for subtle changes others miss.
• Own the trust-the-team corner of the unit — the rooms others overlook get your full attention.
• Deliver direct patient care in line with established clinical protocols and care plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning with case management, social work, and the patient's family in Newark.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Run the Epic Systems intake, sorting urgent from routine in the first five minutes.
