Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters on a 1099 basis. You set your own availability and accept appointments, joining a mission to improve language access through flexible, independent work.

Appointments run Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with pay starting at $25 per hour depending on language, experience, and demand. Must be located in the US and authorized to work; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic understanding.
• Interpreting experience preferred in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate basic communication tools in a work setting.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a freelance interpreter in a 1099 Independent Contractor role.
• Set your own availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.
• Appointments available Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
• Appointments are not guaranteed and offered based on need.
