Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to operate as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. Interpreters set their own availability and accept appointments based on their schedule, with appointments available Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.

Interpreters start at $25 per hour, with pay dependent on language, experience, and demand. Must be located in and authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic understanding.
• Experience interpreting in medical, legal, or educational settings preferred.
• Professionalism, punctuality and adaptability are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship not offered.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or interpreting-related certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services for scheduled appointments.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule and confirm assignments.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Work independently and as part of a team as needed.
