Job summary

Sofar Sounds is seeking freelance local producers to curate, promote, and produce intimate live concerts in local markets. You’ll own the local strategy, artist/venue curation, ticket sales, and provide exceptional attendee experiences, backed by a global platform and support team.

Qualifications

3–5 years in live event curation, production, or promotions.
Strong network of local artists, venues, and community connectors.
Proven ability to promote events, grow an audience, and drive local demand.

Responsibilities

Lead curation and booking for shows in your city with quality artists and venues.
Develop and execute the city’s event strategy, including frequency and themes.
Own local promotion and ticket sales using social media, press, and partnerships.
Oversee staffing and ensure exceptional guest, artist, and venue experiences.
Manage show profitability and financial performance.
Partner with community orgs to broaden reach and co-promote.
Support global brand activations with high-quality event execution.
Collaborate with Sofar producers worldwide to share insights.
