Overview

Reporting into: Director Global Rights Management

Location: New York, NY

Your Role:

We are looking for a freelance Global Rights Coordinator to join our team here in NYC. This person will be supporting a brand that is a leader in its category and is one of the most recognizable brands of our time. You will be responsible for supporting the management of the global usage rights, such as music, talent, photography, and stock for our client.

We are in need of someone who can be a true partner to our client and agency team and support the larger team in managing a brand on a global scale.

What You Do:

  • Responsible for the ingestion process of reviewing newly submitted creative materials and their associated credits, completion reports, contracts, and agreements.
  • Update and maintain the client\'s Digital Asset Management site with usage rights summaries and applicable credit information.
  • Create usage rights breakdowns for new material submissions for the larger team.
  • Outreach to global clients on a frequent basis to collect new creative materials and to research any historical materials.
  • Additional support to the agency team, such as reporting and research efforts related to incoming campaigns.

What You Bring:

  • 1+ years related experience
  • Understanding the various usage rights involved in advertising work
  • Understanding of music licenses is preferred
  • Knowledge of SAG and AFM agreements is preferred
  • Bilingual or an understanding of the Spanish language is preferred, but not required

Location:

McCann New York team members must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York Tristate area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and McCann New York’s Human Resources team. McCann New York is a hybrid workplace with three days in-office per week.

Salary Range:

Weekly rate of $1500. Salary ranges depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
