Job summary

SupportFinity™ is seeking a Freelance Event Coordinator to support the FOX Event team in all aspects of event administration and production. This role involves learning event planning, managing multiple events, and overseeing cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a willingness to learn all aspects of event production. Occasional travel may be required, along with evening and weekend availability for events.

The pay rate ranges from $29.00 to $31.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Freelance Event Coordinator supports the FOX Event team in all aspects of event administration and production. They will learn event planning from the ground up, work across multiple business units, juggle multiple events, and support cross‑functional teams. The coordinator reports to the VP of Events.

Responsibilities
  • Support the events team with all administrative aspects of event planning, including meeting scheduling, travel booking, building itineraries, and tracking and reporting of budgets, contracts, invoices, etc.
  • Assist with equipment and materials prep for shipping prior to events.
  • Work cross‑functionally with legal, finance, design, and tech teams to ensure all event needs are met in a timely manner under the direction of an event lead.
  • Create and prepare presentation decks for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate PA needs and manage onsite PA responsibilities.
  • Complete other administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented, ever‑changing environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently under the direction of the senior events team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of executives and stakeholders across business units.
  • Desire to learn all aspects of event production.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods as needed.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $29.00–$31.50 per hour.
