We are seeking a FREELANCE Copywriter who is passionate about bringing to life engaging creative work, starting from the creative brief until final execution. The Freelance Copywriter writes scripts for traditional and digital media, provides copy for print and web materials, assists in branding for our clients, and works on new business pitches.

The right candidate will be a creative thinker, natural wordsmith and must be able to brainstorm original ideas and copy on a regular basis. Having the ability to bring original creative thinking to life in concepts, headlines, and copy across a variety of clients and industries will set you apart. PLEASE NOTE: This open role is for our part-time/hourly freelance community. As a freelancer, you’ll work on a project-by-project basis as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Write TV and Radio scripts for clients
• Write copy for client web and print materials
• Make corrections and/or changes on client materials when needed
• Brainstorm branding campaigns for existing and prospective clients
• Proofread and spellcheck each job created
• Continually learn client preferences and manufacturer guidelines
• Work closely with art department on each assignment
• Work well with all different personalities and departments
• See project all the way through the end—assist in talent, editing and more

Job Type: FREELANCE / Project Based
Required experience: 3+ years Advertising Agency Experience
Required education: Bachelor’s degree
Hourly Rate: starting at $20/hour and up to $75/hour
*The offered pay range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
