Job summary

Everlane, a clean luxury fashion brand, seeks a freelance copywriter to own day-to-day copy across performance marketing, email, and product copy. This hands-on role supports a high-volume flow with branding and sustainability in mind.

Qualifications

• Excellent copywriting with strong grammar, tone, and clarity.
• Experience writing conversion-focused marketing copy.
• Strong email marketing experience, including subject lines and preheaders.
• PDP copy and product naming experience.
• Experience writing promotional and offer-driven copy.
• Experience writing for fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands preferred.
• Ability to generate multiple variations quickly.
• Self-sufficient and able to own assignments from brief to copy.
• Adaptable to frequent feedback and changing direction.
• Attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Write conversion-focused performance marketing copy across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Write outbound and email marketing copy for a range of needs.
• Develop subject lines and preheaders that are clear and compelling.
• Write promotional copy across email, site, paid media, and other channels.
• Write and refine PDP copy, including product naming and descriptions.
• Develop multiple copy options and different approaches as needed.
• Adapt copy quickly based on feedback and new information.
• Apply established brand voice and copy standards consistently.
• Manage multiple assignments with minimal oversight and self-edit before submission.
