AbelCine is expanding its roster of Freelance Broadcast Engineers and Engineers-in-Charge (EICs) to support live sporting events and immersive productions nationwide. Assignments are scheduled around event calendars, with travel and lodging arranged as needed.

You will train on Cosm proprietary systems and work with advanced camera platforms, flypacks, and remote production trucks across multiple venues during sports seasons.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in broadcast engineering, remote television production, or live sports broadcasting.
• Hands-on experience setting up and troubleshooting broadcast video equipment and signal paths.
• Familiarity with camera systems, fiber, cabling, and video transmission workflows.
• Ability to work in fast-paced live production environments and resolve issues quickly.
• Willingness to travel for freelance assignments, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Set up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot broadcast equipment for live events.
• Support camera systems, including RED cameras and wide-angle configurations.
• Assist with flypacks, remote production trucks, and breakdowns.
• Establish, test, and monitor video signals and transmission paths.
• Troubleshoot video, fiber, cabling, and connectivity issues during events.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure reliable coverage.
• Travel to venues as needed and participate in training on Cosm systems.
• Follow safety procedures and client production standards.
• Travel to venues per schedule.
