Job summary

Free People is seeking a highly organized Web Producer to ensure products go live accurately and on time, while building editorial content that brings the brand to life online. You will coordinate activations with marketing launches and manage on-site product listings across marketplace channels.

This early-career role emphasizes structure, detail-orientation, and delivering complete tasks—from activations to CMS content updates—within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in e-commerce, web production, digital operations, or related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage high volume of tasks with accuracy.
• Clear, proactive communication, including knowing when to follow up and when to escalate.
• Sharp eye for detail and habit of double-checking work.
• Creative problem-solving mindset when things don’t go as planned.
• Comfort with fast-paced environment and daily deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Exposure to a CMS, PIM, or e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product activations aligned with physical catalog releases.
• Activate and manage product listings for marketplace channels.
• Assist with the ISNO report, identifying and resolving product that is available in inventory but not yet live on site.
• Maintain product accuracy across the site, including reclasses, new size activations, and PDP updates.
• Coordinate product reshoots and upload new imagery and video content.
• Maintain markdown pricing on products, ensuring prices reflect current promotions.
• Build editorial content pages in our CMS using established templates.
• Update site content in support of marketing initiatives and promotions.
• QA all product and content updates across browsers and devices before and after launch.
• Partner closely with merchandising, marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to keep timelines aligned.
• Track requests and deadlines so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Troubleshoot issues and find practical solutions to keep things moving.
• Help document processes and suggest improvements to production efficiency.

Role Summary

Free People is looking for a highly organized, detail-obsessed Web Producer to help keep FreePeople.com running smoothly every day. You'll be the person who makes sure our product shows up online accurately, on time, and ready to shop, whether it's a daily drop, a marketing launch, a catalog release, or a marketplace listing. You'll also help build and update the editorial and promotional content that brings our brand to life online. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who thrives on structure, loves seeing a task through to completion, and takes pride in getting every detail right.

Role Responsibilities

Product activations:

• Manage daily product activations to ensure new arrivals go live accurately and on schedule
• Activate product in support of marketing campaigns, launches, and promotions
• Coordinate product activations aligned with physical catalog releases
• Activate and manage product listings for marketplace channels
• Assist with the ISNO (in-stock-not-online) report, identifying and resolving product that is available in inventory but not yet live on site

Product maintenance:

• Maintain product accuracy across the site, including reclasses, new size activations, and PDP updates
• Coordinate product reshoots and upload new imagery and video content

Role Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in e-commerce, web production, digital operations, or a related field (internships count)
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks with accuracy
• Clear, proactive communication, including knowing when to follow up and when to escalates
• A sharp eye for detail and a natural habit of double-checking your work
• A creative problem-solving mindset when things don't go as planned
