Job description

Role Summary

Free People is looking for a Sourcing Coordinator. Reporting to the Sr Production team member, the Sourcing Coordinator position provides administrative and clerical support for the Free People sourcing department.

Role Responsibilities
  • Physical tracking of samples for the department inclusive of salesman, photoshoot, catalog & proto
  • Drive mail distribution and sample check in
  • Daily communication with global vendors on sample due dates.
  • Physical tracking of wash / trim / fit and color submits.
  • Build and distribute TNA templates sent to vendor to add to buy rolls with lead times/ due dates when needed to support Production Coordinators
  • Data entry and PO management support in Tradestone inclusive of Raw Material and BOM management.
  • Support Sr. Coordinators with weekly reporting for publish.
  • Enforce published calendar dates with vendor for on time sample shipping.
  • Communicate with Design & Buying on sample distribution.
  • Weekly invoice management (Production).
  • Support in QA process
  • Miscellaneous projects

  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
