Free People is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support the management of the team’s monthly creative merchandising strategy, site maintenance, and email calendar. The role involves overseeing daily email campaign management and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of all components.

Role Responsibilities

1. Support merchandising partners and learn operational merchandising functions.
2. Manage product presentation and category maintenance across the site, app, and email marketing to ensure consistency and a strong brand POV.
3. Handle the email process for marketing campaigns, including creating and maintaining Asana cards, tracking weekly sales and inventory, and coordinating with Graphic Design and Copy teams to ensure the Merchandising vision is reflected in imagery and copy.
4. Collaborate with the Email Marketing team to launch daily email campaigns efficiently.
5. Identify opportunities for website reshoots of styles to boost current business and manage reshoot wins.

Role Qualifications

• Awareness of industry trends, especially within ecommerce.
• Understanding of the FP Movement customer and aesthetic.
• Strong communication skills.
• Creative and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently, prioritizing and filtering feedback effectively.
• Experience in ecommerce merchandising, web production, or related roles is preferred.
