Job summary

The Kenosha YMCA is seeking an energetic Fitness Instructor to provide high-quality group classes for our members and guests. This role leads classes to improve fitness, strength, and endurance in a welcoming environment, coordinates routines with music, takes attendance, and educates participants on life-quality improvements.

Candidates must hold Group Exercise Certification, CPR/AED, and meet age/education requirements. Relevant teaching experience and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Group Exercise Certification.
• National Certification preferred and CPR/AED current.
• 18 years or older with a HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality group fitness classes for members and guests.
• Coordinate routines with music, take attendance, and educate participants.
• Contribute to class schedule with new ideas and programming.

BE A PART OF SOMETHING GREATThe Kenosha YMCA is seeking an energetic Fitness Instructor to provide high-quality group classes for our members and guests. This position is responsible for leading group fitness classes that will not only motivate members and guests, but enhance the overall fitness, strength, and endurance of the participants in a welcoming environment. The Fitness Instructor will also be asked to coordinate routines with appropriate music, take attendance, and be a resource of information to educate members and guests on how to improve their overall quality of life. Candidates will also contribute to the overall class schedule with new ideas.
