Job summary

Longhorn Village in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a 24-hour skilled nursing facility, under the supervision of the Director of Nurses. You will assist with daily living activities, participation in therapeutic programs, maintain accurate documentation, and support a warm, respectful environment for residents.

Must be 18 years or older, pass a background check, and meet the facility’s certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background checked.
• Certification as CNA or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
• Supports transfers with proper equipment.
• Records vital signs and patient logs.
• Maintains bedside items and linen.
• Keeps resident rooms tidy and comfortable.
• Responds promptly to call lights.
