Job summary

Transforming Age in Seattle, WA is seeking a Health Services Director to lead nursing operations in our Fred Lind Manor community. The role requires WA-licensed RN or LPN, with at least two years’ nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or memory care, and strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills.

You will supervise nursing staff, manage nursing services, coordinate care planning, charting, and incidents, and collaborate with families and residents to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
• Strong leadership and teaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
• Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
• Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
• Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
• Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
• Administers and coordinates medications of residents, serve as community’s Registered Nurse, order medication and refills.
• Works closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate care plans.
• Assists residents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
• Participates in rotation of on-call duty.
• On occasion, may supervise licensed nurses and nurse’s aides.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.

What you need to succeed!
