Job summary

Transforming Age Associates, LLC is seeking a Health Services Director in Seattle, WA. The role supervises healthcare personnel, manages nursing services, and ensures regulatory compliance.

The director will coordinate resident care plans, medications, and transportation, while partnering with families to deliver high-quality aging services. The successful candidate will be a licensed Registered Nurse with at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Memory Care,

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years’ nursing experience.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and teach at regional and facility levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise healthcare personnel including hiring, training, evaluation, and counseling.
• Oversee nursing services, medication room, and staffing.
• Plan, implement, and supervise nursing care schedules.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate required documentation.
• Assess residents for changes in care level and coordinate billing.
• Coordinate medications and serve as the community RN.
• Develop care plans with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation for medical appointments and on-call duties.
• Promote Transforming Age mission and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: 1 Fred Lind Manor 1 1802 17th Avenue 11 Seattle WA 98122. The salary for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 per year DOE.

We are hiring a Health Services Director to join the team!

• Supervises all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
• Supervises medication room, the LPN, Nursing Assistant, Medication Assistant/CMA, and Health Services Associate.
• Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
• Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
• Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
• Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
• Administers and coordinates medications of residents, serve as community’s Registered Nurse, order medication and refills.
• Works closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate care plans.
• Assists residents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
• Participates in rotation of on-call duty.
• On occasion, may supervise licensed nurses and nurse’s aides.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed!: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of employment.

• Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care is preferred..
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
• Strong leadership and teaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
