Job summary

Twilio Inc. seeks a Fraud Specialist, Supplier Operations & Governance (P4) to resolve billing issues and fraudulent use of services in a remote-first setting. You will perform financial investigation, root-cause analysis, and strategic dispute negotiation across customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in telecom operations, fraud operations, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience negotiating disputes with customers or vendors.
• Experience in billing analysis or collections.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience wrangling data with Excel / Google Sheets, Looker or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Advise account managers and management on best practices for billing disputes.
• Negotiate with customers and carriers based on contractual terms.
• Identify and handle fraudulent misuse and billing errors with vendors and customers.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of disputes from intake to resolution.
• Uncover discrepancies, overcharges, and unpaid balances due to quantity, rate and currency issues.
• Analyze call and messaging data to find why bills don’t match or evidence of fraud.
• Build dashboards communicating key metrics of the dispute lifecycle.
• Read contracts to interpret invoice expectations vs. actual invoices.
• Negotiate settlements and payment terms as primary contact.
• Collaborate with data analytics, engineering, and accounting to reconcile accounts.
