Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Quant Analytics Associate within the Consumer & Community Banking Fraud Strategy team. You will manage fraud risk strategies, perform complex risk analyses to reduce losses while balancing customer impact, and regularly interact with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 4+ years of fraud/risk/payments or related field in financial services.
• Proven track record in solving business problems and/or project management with tight timelines.
• Proficient with SQL, SAS, Teradata, Oracle, Alteryx, Snowflake, Python and MS Office including Excel.
• Team player with strong relationship management skills.
• Self-starter with drive to resolve issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret large, complex data to identify risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities.
• Develop and implement fraud strategies to protect the bank and improve customer experience.
• Identify KPIs, enhance reporting, and explore new analytic areas for fraud insights.
• Provide SME on strategy implementation/testing and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address key business challenges.
• Analyze data to uncover business opportunities and communicate findings to senior management.
• Assist in developing new fraud patterns or detection tools.
• Communicate clearly across functions and levels, including IT and Risk Management.
