Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Scientist Vice President in the Fraud Strategy team to shape and execute fraud risk strategies using advanced analytics. You will lead cross-functional projects, drive strategic conversations with stakeholders, and deliver solutions to mitigate fraud risks.

The role requires guiding analytics to senior management, overseeing KPI analysis, and presenting findings to executive leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fraud Strategy, analytics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Ability to lead complex projects independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience driving conversations and building consensus across functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; present analyses to executives.
• Strong background in statistics, econometrics, or related quantitative methods.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, and spreadsheet tools; can query large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics to provide senior management with insights into fraud trends and account quality.
• Oversee KPI analysis and profitability drivers across the full account lifecycle.
• Understand underwriting, portfolio management, and collections to identify fraud drivers.
• Direct and execute complex projects from analysis through implementation and monitoring.
• Drive strategic conversations and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to executive leadership.
