First Merchants Bank is seeking a Fraud Strategy & Analytics Specialist to centralize and enhance the bank’s use of fraud prevention tools. You will optimize tools, analyze trends, and align deployments with business goals while acting as a liaison between fraud operations, LOBs, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or financial technology.
• Experience with fraud analytics using detection tools or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Attend vendor/user group meetings to stay current on tool capabilities.
• Monitor changes and assess impact on fraud detection and prevention.
• Understand tool capabilities and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Coordinate with LOBs to support decision‑making on fraud tools and strategies.
• Document current state and tool configurations; maintain records.
• Identify leading practices in fraud prevention and technology utilization.
• Identify and analyze fraud trends across channels and products.
• Participate in the triage team to support rapid response and resolution.
• Provide recommendations for tuning and configuration of fraud detection systems.
• Align tool usage with business goals and risk appetite.
