Job summary

First Horizon Bank seeks a motivated analytics student or recent graduate to support fraud data insights. You’ll perform routine reporting, validate data quality, and help create dashboards using Power BI while refining SQL queries and documenting logic.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, CS, economics or related field.
• Interest in fraud analytics, risk strategy, or financial services.
• Foundational experience with SQL, Excel or similar tools through coursework or internships.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; clear communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring fraud reporting and performance tracking for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with monitoring data pipelines and validating data quality in reporting outputs.
• Help prepare dashboards and visual summaries in Power BI or similar tools.
• Write and refine SQL queries to gather, clean, and analyze data.
• Document reporting logic, metric definitions, and SOPs.
• Partner with analysts to investigate fraud patterns and operational trends.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis supporting fraud strategy decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly format.
