Job summary

1st Security Bank is seeking a dedicated professional to join the BSA Compliance team to investigate fraud activity and support the Bank’s Security Risk Program. This role requires knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and a commitment to regulatory reporting accuracy.

You will collaborate with the BSA Officer and Fraud & Security teams to ensure compliant reporting, while delivering outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience of at least 3 years in a financial institution or related area.
• Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and AML policies and related programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; professional image in writing, in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze all account-related fraud alerts; make decisions to protect customers and the Bank.
• Assist in filing applicable BSA reports to Federal agencies.
• Track fraud investigations and documentation; assist in law enforcement reporting.
• Provide support to other departments on fraud-related matters.
• Perform a physical security review of each bank office location at least annually.
• Review security-related reports quarterly (alarms, site and area access).
• Assist in managing security-related vendor service calls.
• Complete projects assigned by the department manager promptly.
• Represent the Bank with integrity and professionalism.
• Support the Bank’s Core Values.
