SOLANA FOUNDATION is looking for a Machine Learning Lead in Chicago, IL, to enhance our fraud detection systems. You will lead our new ML team, focusing on creating and optimizing fraud models and decisioning systems for payments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in machine learning, particularly with fraud models. A competitive salary range of $175,000 to $235,000, along with equity and comprehensive benefits, is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in machine learning, applied data science, or production ML roles.
• Experience building fraud models in payments, focused on acquiring side.
• Proven track record of deploying fully productionized ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen fraud detection and risk decisioning capabilities.
• Own the full model lifecycle: experimentation, evaluation, monitoring.
• Define and track core fraud and risk metrics for continuous improvement.
