Job summary

Extend is seeking a Senior ML Data Scientist to drive the development of innovative machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Fraud Intelligence teams, managing the entire data science lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning, Python, and SQL, along with over 3 years of experience in deploying machine learning systems. There is an estimated pay range of $135,000 - $165,000 per year, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience building and deploying machine learning systems into production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.

Responsibilities

• Own the model lifecycle and partner with ML engineers on deployment.
• Translate complex fraud patterns into scalable ML solutions.
• Monitor model quality in production and track performance over time.
