Job summary

Compeer Financial seeks a leader to own the enterprise fraud risk management program, shaping strategy, governance, technology and monitoring to reduce risk. You will advise senior leadership on exposure and investments while partnering with the legal and compliance team to drive program maturity.

You will collaborate across business units to implement enhancements, establish governance standards, and guide the organization through evolving fraud threats and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Expert-level experience in fraud risk management within financial services.
• Advanced leadership experience in large programs or banks.
• Experience implementing fraud detection tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Owns enterprise fraud monitoring, detection, and prevention capabilities; defines requirements and standards.
• Maintains governance and operating standards for fraud programs, including metrics and data.
• Partners with senior leaders to drive fraud-related improvements and initiatives.
• Acts as senior subject matter expert advising leadership on fraud risks and mitigation.
• Leads fraud risk assessments to strengthen prevention, detection, monitoring and response.
