Socure is seeking a Data Scientist II to join the Fraud & Risk Data Science team in Seattle. You’ll work hands-on with state‑of‑the‑art models to detect fraud, assess risk, and verify identities. You will own model development tasks, collaborate across teams, and stay current with AI advancements.

The role emphasizes end‑to‑end ML lifecycle, from data exploration to deployment, with opportunities to work on diverse data and in a supportive, high‑performing environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying deep learning models.
• Experience with multiple data modalities (tabular, text, point clouds, images).
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience deploying and monitoring models in production; real-time inferencing is a plus.
• Familiarity with LLMs and Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph/Ray) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement advanced deep learning models (transformers, CNNs, LSTMs) for fraud and risk challenges.
• Build and optimize models using diverse inputs (tabular data, text, images, point clouds).
• Own tasks and drive project goals with minimal supervision.
• participate in all ML lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate results clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
